Shipping & Delivery

Our standard handling time is one (1) business day. Most of the orders shipped on the same or next business day from tha date order received. Please allow 3 – 6 working days for delivery depending on your location. If an item is out of stock we will inform you of the expected delay if any. Most of the items we offer priced including Free Ground shipping within Continental US. For items shipping to Hawaii & Alaska Free Shipping policy is not applicable. Other items are priced FOB Belleville, NJ 07109.

Standard shipping methods:

FedEx:

Items up to 150 lbs can be shipped using Ground, 3rd Day, 2nd Day or Next Day Express service. 2nd Day and Next Day orders must be received before 1:00 p.m. (EST) Monday – Friday, in order to be shipped on the same day. Transit time may be affected due to weather conditions and other emergency cases void the guarantee and could result in a delay to the scheduled delivery date.

Truck Freight:

We use multiple trucking carriers to ship items that weigh more than 150 lbs. Residential delivery fee will apply to all shipments sent to residential and rural areas.

International Orders:

All international orders under 150 lbs shipped via FedEx International. All international orders above 150 lbs each shipped via truck freight carrier of our choice. When you purchase items outside of the United States, you are responsible for all applicable Customs & Duty fees.

Return Policy

If you’re not satisfied with your purchase from Magister Hydraulics, contact us within 30 days of purchase for return instructions. Returns after 30 days of purchase are not accepted; all returns will incur a 15% restocking fee. Prior authorization is required; an RMA must be issued. Orders cannot be canceled once fulfilled. If the delivery is refused or a return to sender is requested directly with FedEx, our return policy applies; return shipping and restocking fees will be deducted.

To be eligible for return, your item(s) must be unused – in the condition in which it was received, including all original parts, packaging, and accessories. Power equipment products are not eligible for return once they have been in contact with gas or oil. Once gassed or oiled, they will not be accepted for return, even if sent back. The customer will incur charges if products must be restored to their original condition or if accessories or parts are not returned. All original packaging and packing materials must be included to ensure the safety of the item(s). Magister Hydraulics is not responsible for lost or damaged returns. In the unlikely event your order arrives damaged, photos of the item(s) and packaging are required to approve your return request.

Non-inventory items must be approved for return by Magister Hydraulics; this includes Cross, Enerpac, and Hose Box items. Our restocking fee and policy apply in addition to our vendors. The return address differs from the address provided below and will be included in the email sent with the RMA; the return address is not included in the RMA. If non-inventory items are delivered to our return address, we will request a label or offer to use our FedEx account and deduct the cost from your refund to ship to our vendor. If using our account, if lost or damaged in transit, we are not responsible. A refund will be issued only when we have received a credit from our vendor.

Return Process

Ship the merchandise and a copy of the RMA freight prepaid using your carrier of choice to the address below. A prepaid FedEx label can also be requested; the cost will be deducted from the final refund. Prepaid return labels are not available for LTL freight, international, and drop-shipped orders.

Upon receipt, merchandise will be sent to our quality control department for inspection. Any item(s) used or not in their original condition will not be accepted or refunded even if sent back; inspection can take up to 72 hours. Upon completion, a replacement or refund for the current merchandise price will be processed, restocking fee and shipping will be deducted from the current merchandise price. Refunds within 30 days will incur a standard restocking fee of 15%, up to 30%. Returns after 30 days of purchase are not accepted even if sent back. Unauthorized, used, or damaged returns will not be approved for refund. If your refund is not approved and you request the item(s) be returned, you are responsible for providing a label and scheduling a pickup, no exceptions.

If the product is defective within the warranty period, please contact us at the time of the alleged failure. Be sure to provide your order number, a video of the item(s) operating- demonstrating the issue, and a detailed description of the problems you have encountered. Bent rod is not covered under warranty; click here to view our full warranty.
